In the not too distant future, a lethal plague has wiped out most of the humans on earth. A few ex-gradeners (a religion based on science, the Bible and ecological theory) are struggling to make it. Told from multiple points of view, and back and forth over a 25 year span, this book is epic and addictive. Some of it is also told as speeched and hymns from the gardener founder, Adam One. I could not stop reading or thinking about this book. A cautionary sci-fi tale that will hopefully never become real, but offers some hope in the darkness.
