really liked it
bookshelves: 2006-reads
Read in November, 2009

PROTAGONIST: Father John O'Malley and Vicky Holden (lawyer)
SETTING: Arapaho reservation (Wyoming)
SERIES: #2 of 12
WHY: Exceeded expectations. I had only read the first and recalled some kind of attraction between the priest and the lawyer, thought it was going to be a Julia Spencer-Fleming thing, but it wasn't at all. There was never anything inappropriate between them, more like good and caring friends. Setting nicely done incorporating Arapaho specific traditions, a good read.
