Combining all adjectives and nouns is a sure way to win the Booker or Pulitzer, apparently. Heavysymbolism and overusedforeshadowing. I probably didn't enjoy this because I had to finish reading it by a certain time for class, but when you start with an "and one day everything changed" premise and don't get to it until the last chapter it's hard to stay interested.

Susan Howson Your class has become very useful to me. Way to screen books for me.

Jami i read this a few years ago, and the only thing that has stayed with me is the expression "feeling vomity." a case for literary merit indeed.
