You know, I really love Good Dog Carl, and I can appreciate the humor and illustrations in this series. I'm fine with the whole suspension of belief thing that goes with it, too. But, as with many series that start well (Sheep in a Jeep, Fancy Nancy, and Ranger's Apprentice come immediately to mind) this one has gone way downhill. I especially have a problem with the fact that Carl steals hot dogs from a vendor with no consequences. Nice lesson there. Make these books stop, please.
