This is a non-fiction that reads like a Tom Clancy Novel. If you're in it for adventure, espionage and political intrigue, you won't be disappointed. If you read it for real insight into American diplomacy and corporate power, prepare to be shaken, not stirred. If Perkins' claims about the level of corruption in world trade are true, I must marvel at how, just when it seems we are utterly powerless individuals in the larger system, there are individuals like Perkins who are willing to demonstrate the power of one.
