really liked it
bookshelves: historical, non-fiction, cultural-critiques, heavy, worth-its-weight

Read this. Read this because it is your duty as a woman and because De Beauvoir dared to do what others would not. Although she comes off horribly sexist at times, one must remember she was a product of her time, and without her there would be no Friedan.
