liked it
bookshelves: audio

Really not sure if I liked this book or not. I listened to the audio version, which probably made it worse. It was quite gruesome and powerful. Highly recommend it to the girls who would want to read it. As powerful and gripping and repulsive as Elizabeth Scott's "Living Dead Girl".
Lia and Cassie were best friends. Lia is anorexic and Cassie is bulemic. Cassie dies. The rest of the book is about Lia's struggle to come to terms with Cassie's death and her struggle with anorexia. Vivid details about her thought processes about wanting to eat, but not wanting to eat. The self-delusions, the hiding from others. Read this book if you want to know what it feels like to be anorexic.
