I read the first book in this series a few years ago. When I saw there was another one, I knew I had to read it because the first one was so enlightening for me. This book is from Stargirl's perspective as she moves to Pennsylvania and wrestles with the question of Leo. He broke her heart because he wasn't ready. It was truly beautiful. It was very compelling to read, but not as much as other books I've read. However, I still loved it so I'm going to give it a 3.5

Stargirl is different. She sees things and people in a different light than most but don't think that makes her more wise. It does in some aspects but in this book, she loses some of that as she learns to live without Leo by her side. Her Winter Solstice celebration was so moving for me. It represented the turning point in not only the seasons, but of Stargirl's attitude toward her new life. She is happier and (view spoiler)
