really liked it
bookshelves: 2011-reads, general-fiction

Gah. I don't know what to write. Emotional, I shed a few tears here and there. Ending came out of left field. If you read it, you'd know what I thought was going to happen, up until the dad got the call. Then I was all "oh, predictable."

And sadly I never really cared for the mother, I started to care for the dad about mid way, and I though well, maybe it's one of those eleventh hour secrets that will make me fee for her, you know? Like when we find out that the bully is that way because she was molested when she was a kid. And I guess there kid of was, I understood her feelings and why she did the things she did, she's not alone, most people would feel and act the same, I just.... was never pushed over the edge.

So the book is slightly more than just okay. It kept me reading, which is good.
