Am grateful this book exists. What the hell, world? How can this shit still be happening!? Pairs shocking, outrage-sparking accounts of the appalling abuse, neglect, oppression, and violence that millions of women still experience on an everyday basis in the developing world, with amazing inspirational stories of women from those same communities who defy this treatment and are fighting for real change. Also includes info. for the best ways we can help in the west.
