A story about a young woman who comes to the post-apocalyptic United States in search of her brother and cannot return home, and her effort to survive in a tough environment. Does he write anything cheerful or hopeful? I wonder. But still, I enjoyed this one, as I have all his books that I have read. Although, to be honest, I was wishing the end of the book would come sooner.
