it was amazing

I am currently reading the sequel, "Olympos", and I cannot aggree enuogh with everyone here who gave it 5 stars. When you pick it up you don't realize there are 3 story lines, and when I realized this my first reaction was apprehension, because this gets some authers into trouble. But it actually worked quite well. the moravec story is probably the least interesting of the three, but that being said, it was still a far better story than most Sci-Fi out today. All 3 of the plotlines had their slower moments, but it always seemed like when one slowed down, one or both of the other two sped up.

this is an 800 page book, but it reads like a 300 page book, and that is the way a long book should be. I RARELY give high rankings for a long book, but this one deserves, and I must say, Simmons is rapidly becoming my favourite Author. It is a shame Clarke is deceased, because only he can match Simmons in imagination.
