really liked it
bookshelves: i-own-already

It has taken me awhile to get around to finishing this book but I am glad I finally did. Compared to the Mercy Thompson Series, that this series is a spin off of, it seems to deal more with the struggling relationship between Charles, the Marrok's enforcing arm and son, and his new mate, Omega wolf Anna, who is recovering from the first few years of being a mistreated werewolf.
I do like the relationship between Charles and Anna very much and it is also nice riser more of the werewolf side of things, rather than sticking to Mercy's side of the story being a coyote among wolves.
But all in all both series are great to read, this book particularly. I can't wait to read the next one.
