I have been distracted with work and so was looking for a light read for the weekend. A little humor would be a good thing, but I mostly just wanted an escape from my life.

Katie MacAlister provided everything I wanted and more. This book was so much fun. It definitely distracted me - almost too much. It was well written and really funny. I really enjoyed myself.

This wonderful book is why I read romance. Yes the plot line is predictable. But when an author puts her own twist on the genre and comes up with an original book I am so delighted.

MacAlister has a webpage with a podcast about this book. Her inside look was also fun. Now the question facing me - is she always this good? I can't wait to find out.
