really liked it
bookshelves: picture-books

This has been a good choice for a wiggly PreK, K, or 1st Grade crowd. It always starts out well: they LOVE the indecisiveness of the bug, and dancing the chicken dance "faster!" is super fun. However, most of the kids don't seem to understand the ending. They want to read the book again right away, but they seem kinda confused in the last couple pages.

The Library Lady Try getting scared along with the bug and the frog. The kids always love it when they roar or growl at me and I pretend to be really scared to the point of hiding my face or cowering behind my chair!
