really liked it
bookshelves: nonfiction

The best of the Ellis books I've read, although this may be because we finally tackle a noble-seeming protagonist (Sorry, Jeffy, ya douche.)and give him a full volume. Ellis also admits to a longstanding love of Washington, which may have colored (read: surely did color) his treatment. Nonetheless, worth reading to see how someone *very* human has left an almost godlike impression.
