First off I didn't think i'd like this book so much! I just thought that it'd just be another cheesy and badly sewn together romance full of 'quick shadowed glances filled with desire'. Yes they annoy me. But Venice in The moonlight was certainly not 'one of those books'. It was very well written and I was soon sucked into the story. I loved the description in the novel, I could feel the rushing of the rivers and the myriads of emotions. And the romance oh the romance! I must admit that I wasn't truly into the novel until I was well into the investigation of the murder and the love story, but what a story it was.
