Sandy Nawrot's Reviews > Fangirl
The only thing reverberating in my head right now is that chant that you hear at concerts...WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE! Or in this case, I want more. This has certainly been my year of Rainbow Rowell, and she has once again charmed the living hell out of me. Her stories are so sweet, so real, so precious, you just don't want them to end, Fangirl included. I want sequels! To all of her books! So it has been awhile since I've lived in a dorm with a larger-than-life roommate and been overwhelmed at the idea of college. It's been awhile since first love. But that doesn't mean Rowell didn't just time travel me right back there. Rowell has this knack for dialogue and chemistry that you rarely see in stories these days. Her drama never comes across as over-wrought, love doesn't happen too fast, and dreams are achieved but not easily. Quirkiness and geekiness is a virtue. Now I'm off to sink into a fugue state because I have no more Rainbow to brighten my day.
