really liked it
bookshelves: recommended, non-fiction
Read from May 09 to 10, 2010

The author praises everything softened by the patiana of age and shadows. Reading this book today, I find it quite similar to it's theme: most of the views are dated, some even controversial, yet somehow it still shines through.

What it lacks in structure (going from toilets to women who blacken their teeth and then to Einstein over the course of a few pages) it more than makes up for in content.
