I found this book entertaining, but also somewhat self-serving. Gladwell certainly is a good story teller. He starts the book with his hypothesis, and then goes for a few hundred pages telling stories that both support and oppose it. In the end, I found it was fun to read the stories, but mostly contradictory and confusing.

I will give him high marks for giving us excellent examples of social prejudices inherent to our nature. So, as a book about how our minds consciously and unconsciously lead us to decisions seen as social injustices, I give him 5 stars.

It was the contradictions that drove me crazy.
