really liked it

Satrapi's story has a way of getting under my skin. I don't think I liked this sequel as much as her first book (this one left me wanting to know so much more), but there is something ultimately haunting about it. To read about such oppression and tyranny with such minimalistic drawings and so little text leaves quite an impression. Persepolis 2 is a nice companion to Reading Lolita in Tehran, which I read earlier this year and have thought about often.
