it was amazing
bookshelves: science-fiction, military-science-fiction

This was one of the best science fiction books I had read any time recently. The idea is a good one and looks at a situation sort of the opposite of that set up in the series of books "The Damned trilogy" by Alan Dean Foster. It makes an excellent and interesting story. The threat faced by a spreading humanity is met in a unique way here, and whether it's actually feasible or not, it's a great story.

Mayim de Vries I don't read SF too much but I really liked this book.

Mike (the Paladin) Yeah me to. Of course the fact I'm a "little" older might add to that.

Mayim de Vries :D Mike, the spirit never ages!

Mike (the Paladin) I do sometimes fell a bit surprised at the guy in the mirror.

s i enjoyed the first one (the other two not so much) but the poor execution of discussion scenes was a big bummer
