I loved it. This is a magical adventure that I enjoyed as much as my two young sons. It is refreshing to have a modern novel that, rather than degrading, actually celebrates familial ties, extreme intelligence in one of the main female characters, cooperation to achieve goals, and respect for nature. It manages to do all this and still have great pacing and good character development. Well done, indeed. I look forward to more from this author.
