I've read a couple of novels by Christopher Buckley (who just opened up this year's Novello), but this was very entertaining for a memoir about the end of his parents' lives (especially ones as famous as William F. Buckley). Buckley is quick and funny, and you can see where he got his quick wit from. THe book was sweet and a little sad without being saccharine, and gave an interesting insight into what it might be like to be the only child of William and Pat Buckley. Bottom line-it's not easy!
