For my review of Kiss of Steel (London Steampunk, #1)
Another great installment to the London Steampunk series. This time it actually followed characters that we weren't very familiar with and gave a glimpse into other parts of the world that Bec has created. Unlike the other books in the series, both the male and female protagonist could fight and that made for some good action. The romance was hot and so were the characters. I'm looking forward to more from this series for sure. The plot was particularly good as the female protagonist had to play two different people throughout the book. The author juggled that well. I talk about this book and others on my YouTube channel, here:
My Spoilery Thoughts: (view spoiler)

Side Note: Don't get the book title. It's prequels were Heart of Iron and Kiss of Steel. Those titles match, whereas this one stands apart. Having read the book even, I don't see a reason to change the title theme. It's not a bad title, it just doesn't fit the series theme and I find that weird. Some would argue that Tarnished Knight doesn't fit the theme either, bit since that's a ".5" and not even a full novel I think it's ok for the title to deviate some. Personally, I think something like Lady of Quicksilver would have been cool and still fit the title theme. IMO.
