Recommended for: chick lit lovers

Quite well written chick lit, and most of my real life girlies know that I'm not a huge fan of the genre. Unique in that genre in that the heroine has children and a hum-drum job. Well paced, well written, and the Britishisms kept me mentally engaged throughout. Main character is believable and lovable even when she totally loses it over her hubby dumping her for a younger model. Heroine's choice of 4 (count 'em, 4) new men in her life rings a little false, but each male character is well fleshed-out considering the book is really for women, about women. Overall it's a great little escapist piece of fiction about picking up your life and starting over when life throws a curve ball your way.
