it was amazing
bookshelves: sf-fantasy, classics

A great bit of space opera, in which humans are a minor race in the grand scheme of the galaxy and the other aliens find them to be more trouble than their worth.
The Chanur are a lion like race of traders, and it is one of their ships that is caught in the middle of alien politics that that erupts when the first humans show up.

Nice mix of adventure, hard science, great aliens and lots of intrigue.
One of my favorite sci-fi series.
