Read my review of Kiss of Steel (London Steampunk, #1)
I would recommend reading this solely for the excerpt that follows it. The excerpt covers the events prior to Heart of Iron (London Steampunk #2). Why these events were excluded from the actual book 2, I'm not really sure. I believe one can read book 2 without reading this excerpt, but I'm glad I did because I feel as though I understood it all better. Looking at just Tarnished Knight without the excerpt, it was good. Nothing amazing or memorable. Just a short romance. It's short enough to read in a day. The characters are good and so is the romance. The story is a bit lacking, but I would still recommend it to fans of the series. On it's own, probably not. I talk about this book and others on my YouTube channel, here: http://bit.ly/RN2j5n

Side Note: Hate the cover. Hate. Hate. HATE the cover. The models are soooo unappealing. The models for book one, two, and three are all attractive. What happened here?

Protagonist Meter
Damsel-*------*---Badass
The female protagonist is about as damsel as one gets. She wasn't annoying about it though. The male protagonist was badass and made up for it.
