Read my review of Kiss of Steel (London Steampunk, #1)
I would recommend reading this solely for the excerpt that follows it. The excerpt covers the events prior to Heart of Iron (London Steampunk #2). Why these events were excluded from the actual book 2, I'm not really sure. I believe one can read book 2 without reading this excerpt, but I'm glad I did because I feel as though I understood it all better. Looking at just Tarnished Knight without the excerpt, it was good. Nothing amazing or memorable. Just a short romance. It's short enough to read in a day. The characters are good and so is the romance. The story is a bit lacking, but I would still recommend it to fans of the series. On it's own, probably not. I talk about this book and others on my YouTube channel, here:

Side Note: Hate the cover. Hate. Hate. HATE the cover. The models are soooo unappealing. The models for book one, two, and three are all attractive. What happened here?

Protagonist Meter
The female protagonist is about as damsel as one gets. She wasn't annoying about it though. The male protagonist was badass and made up for it.
