really liked it
bookshelves: f-adult

A historical mystery set in the Middle Ages where Adelia, an Italian woman doctor, is sent by the kings of England and Sicily to figure out who is killing children in Cambridge. Lots of interesting history and science. A little romance, too.

You know a book is good when you stick with reading it even though it's taking you almost 2 months to finish because of work and the flu and writing deadlines.
