really liked it
bookshelves: humorous
Read in January, 2010

When the nature of Psmith became evident at the beginning of the book, I almost groaned, seeing a superficial resemblance to Ferris Bueller, a character I dislike intensely. However, Wodehouse manages to create a Psmith who is a master craftsman at the art of talking himself out of situations rather than another Ferris Bueller, who is a cheap con artist at best and a dishonest teenager at worst. In the end I found Psmith highly diverting and funny and will definitely go on to read more Wodehouse.
