it was amazing
bookshelves: urban-fantasy

Once I got used to the frequent change or character perspective (chapters were written from different characters POV), and got to know who was who, I thoroughly loved this book.
Shahkara is totally kick-ass but also has a vulnerable side and poor Max, just needs a hug.
The quick wit and humour really appealled to my dry sense of humour and had me chuckling throughout the whole book.
I don't know how many times I found myself reeling, and having lots of 'No way!!' and 'I did NOT see that coming but it was totally awesome!' moments!
I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something different from their urban fantasy.
