really liked it

To anyone familiar with the workings of a large extended family, the Bin Ladens appear at first like any other extended family - often exhibiting a prominent leader, a method of dispersal of funds, and a defined, if somewhat mobile, hierarchy. Striking is the extent of involvement of highly-placed Americans and multi-nationals on the fringes of this family. And, perhaps surprisingly, the level of education and the extent of involvement of blood female relatives in the family operations. A fascinating study, well-researched. And sobering.
