it was amazing

I’m hesitant to say how much I liked this book because I think high expectations might spoil it for someone else. This is a tiny book, easily read in a sitting, although it contains correspondence spanning 20 years. Nothing earth-shattering occurs, there’s no romance or high drama, but if you’d like to take a peak into the lives of two ordinary and interesting strangers, living in ordinary and interesting times, you can’t do better than this. Maybe it’s just because I’m a bit nostalgic for old fashioned letters, but reading this book felt as good as receiving a long letter from a faraway friend.
