A book that is not so much about Beavan's experience as "no impact man" as it is a presentation of the current environmental research on global warming and peak oil. C'mon! The whole point of this experiment really was to show-and-tell HIS personal experience (and that of his fur-loving, quadruple latte swigging spouse and their two-year-old daughter). I KNOW what the scientists are saying. I've read ALL of the other books on this topic. I was greatly disappointed. The author's personal experiences could be summed up in about 20 pages of the book.
