it was ok

My Dune book was a little too bulky for my camping trip, so I'm bringing this sequel to the book I read last year. I enjoyed the first one a lot.

I still like Niven's concept. The ringworld is a fascinating imaginary world, still, and this book deals with some of the scientific problems that might arise with such a world. But his writing is a little too scatter-brains for me. Too much happens too quickly, and it's hard to follow. If it flowed better, I might rate it higher.

For the time when it was written, I think it was probably pretty cool. He ties in a lot of evolutionary theory. I'll give him credit on his sense of humor as well.
