it was amazing
bookshelves: bookgroup, favorite, to-reread, general-fiction, short-stories, favorite-covers, deserves-6-stars, rereads

This was the most fabulous short story collection I have ever read. I loved loved this book. Every story was beautifully written and engrossing. All of them connected to natural history in some way, which kept a flow to the book even though the stories were not connected to each other in any other way.

Kristin I loved this book too. I don't typically read short stories because I usually don't enjoy them but this collection was outstanding.

Joanna I am always looking for good short stories... I never used to find them at all satisfying. It seemed as soon as I got invested in the characters they were out of my life! However I took a short story class at UVM and that was marvelous. Ever since, I really seek them out.

Chrissie Joanna - tomorrow I will start them!
