it was amazing

Absolutely stunning literary technique. This books is one of those that ultimately prove that SF has as much literary potential as any kind of literature.

The construction of the book, weaving psychoanalysis, memories and paper excerpts, is its main interest, but the uncanny atmosphere of the space station is also a highlight of this book. The novel unravels like the subconscious, with absolute literary grace, mixing the evolution of a plot and of a therapy finely balanced together. It is great SF as well, if you are more interested in adventure than psychology.

A book to read at all cost.
