Curse those words, "For the riveting conclusion to Blackout be sure not to miss Connie Willis's All Clear. Coming from Spectra in Fall 2010." Her writing as always, is thought provoking. I found myself researching the Evacuation of Dunkirk, the Tower Ravens, and other key facts. As always her fascination with 'ordinary' people rising to meet the occasion and doing small, yet significant and heroic deeds, drives the story.

Jamie Collins I'm looking forward to this!

Valerie Me too! I was just thinking about rereading Passages, because I've been suggesting it to several people.

Jamie Collins The last thing I read of hers was the giant collection of short stories, The Winds of Marble Arch. I also haven't read All Seated on the Ground yet. It seems to be out of print.

Jamie Collins Hey, I just found All Seated posted on the Asimov's magzine website. Cool.

Valerie Excellent
