I highly recommend this book to everyone in the world. It is crucial to understanding what humans are doing to increase the risk to our "comfortable" life and our survival, and what we can do to increase our chances of survival and improve the quality of life. The author does a great job of describing a very complex set of issues on the planet in a way that is easy for anyone to understand and describes issues using interesting (and sometimes funny) anecdotes that make a connection between many people's daily life and the issues we face today in regards to ecological balance and especially our food supply.
