This was a fast read, only 187 pages. It was written from three perspectives, the wife, the husband and Dorothy the dog. It touched me how the husband and wife cared for each other after 45+ years marriage. I hope my husband and I care for each other just as much. It also put onto paper what goes through our mind during a life threatening situation and some of our real thoughts even though we hate to admit them or even that we thought them.
