really liked it
bookshelves: books-about-literature, british, famous-people-as-characters, historical-fiction, victorian, mystery

Oscar Wilde solves mysteries!! As an idea, of course, this is completely ridiculous. But the cover was so cute, and the reviews so good, and the protagonist so appealing, I thought I'd give it a try. And in the execution, this book really is all kinds of charming, witty fun--I thoroughly enjoyed it.
