it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction

I really liked this book. The author says the slipper year is what she termed a time of transition. She has a good marriage and 9 year old son, she just feels things are changing in her life and relationship. The chapters are really stand alone essays, dealing with issues such as separating from her son when he goes to camp to realizing that one day, sleeping with your husband is like sleeping with a relative. Lots of common life issues. She writes with a lot of humor too and the book was finished all too soon.
