(A-) 80% | Very Good
Notes: Excessive exposition and ludicrous writing discolor an otherwise captivating, thought-provoking, page-turning read.

Nathan Cool review, Jay! Quite a jump from the first book, eh? Good you kept on with the series.

Thank, Nathan! I actually read this second book first, and then again in sequence with the rest. So I had a positive opinion of it going into the series. But you're right, it's often good to give things a second chance to see it if improves upon your first impressions.

Ghaid This is my favorite in the series!
