really liked it

I have to admit the beginning really didn't hook me as much as I had hoped. It took a good 100-150 pages for me to REALLY start to feel the urge to not want to put it down. I sometimes struggled to want to read it in the beginning. But it all came together nicely in the end and is worth waiting for all the pieces to fall into place. Definately a book you don't want to rush through, just relax and let it take it's course.

Part of my problems in the beginning, was feeling invested into the characters. There was such a strong apathy ingrained in the main characters that it almost overwhelmed the story in the start and took a little time on my part to adjust I guess.

I would say that there are a lot of graphic violent descriptions in this book that may not be appropriate for some families young adults out there, particularly the preteens.
