it was amazing
bookshelves: nora-roberts

This the second book in the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts. A continuation of the first book, this book is Blaire and Larkin’s Story. It was evident in the circle of six that it would end up this way. The circle train hard in modern Ireland, with Blaire working them out. Some quick foray into the caves on the coast and saving of the captives helped in strategy. Morrigan comes to the two main characters and tells Blaire that it is time to Gaille and prepares the world for the war. They go to the dance during the day in strategic intervals. The dance is closed to Keehan and he wants to stay. Moira knows they have to be together and with the help from the Gods he is taken to the new world. The land of Gaell is a lot like Ireland but centuries behind. With the two cousins coming home, it was very interesting to see the world she set up. With strategic attacks, capture the vampires that killed the Queen, and Moira becoming Queen are main events of this book. Blaire is almost killed in a fight with Laura, and is scarred with holy water. At the end of the book Blaire realizes that she can’t and won’t turn Larkin away. They are betrothed as the second month ends.
