it was amazing
bookshelves: history, wicked-good-books

Surprised at how much I enjoyed this book, even as a volunteer tour guide who covers the North End. History writing sometimes loses me, but the author kept me very engaged. The paperback edition has an amazing afterword based on a source material the author was sent only AFTER he published the book. The bibliography alone makes this book a great resource for history buffs. Now to find more reading material about WWI, anarchists, and the Wilson, Harding and Coolidge administrations!
