it was amazing
bookshelves: own-it, novels, fun
Recommended for: everyone

** spoiler alert ** An incredible book. Deserves all the accolades and attention it's received. Deserves to be added to the "The Canon" of great literature that everyone should read.

My only problem with it is, call me old-fashioned, but I need more resolution. The ending was so sudden and left so much - virtually everything, in fact, hanging. Not a single subplot or character was "wrapped up". maybe that's the idea.

Sonya Diehn Steev, apparently there was a whole "second novel" that was left unwritten but understood. I got some fragments of this, but had to be filled in by Googling.
