"Jacob's Faith" by Lora Leigh was the next installment of the Breeds series, and was very interesting and contained some surprising and exciting future storylines. This book was a bit slow to get into, but the end result was of the book was worth the read.

Jacob, top Wolf Breed enforcer, left his mate Faith, Wolf Breed liasion and negotiator, six years earlier because of one night they shared in the Breed Labs they were created in. He believed he hurt and scarred Faith with his actions, and thought that he was protecting her by staying away. But he is about to learn that denying himself and Faith was the biggest mistake of his life, and while on a mission together, he must make up for the time that was lost, and also protect the woman he plans to claim as his own or risk losing her permanently.

I have to say, the storyline for Jacob and Faith had all the right elements, but it just lacked that extra something that I have come to expect in Lora Leigh's Breeds books. Jacob had way too much self loathing for my liking, but I could and did get past that. What bothered me was Faith. She was acting like a spoiled brat and a royal bitch, and then had the audacity to demand to be treated like an Alpha female. I had a very hard time liking her, and her with Jacob. I understood the dynamics and enjoyed the final product, but Jacob and Faith were just a little off-putting to me. I did, however, like the introduction of a different Breed type. I definitely want to read more about these Breeds down the line! I would still recommend this book to all Breeds fans because it does continue the saga, and this is just my opinion of the book. I fell in love with this series after reading "Tempting the Beast," and I plan to continue reading this series until the absolute end!
