Anderson is still cute, but I have a hard time identifying with where he is in life and what he has been through. Therefore I found his emotional detachment from the horrors he was witnessing a little disturbing. I won't be recommending this book. I hope he writes one that shares his experience in the public eye as a role model for the gay community. Perhaps toward the end of his career, though it would be much more powerful at this critical time of challenges to gay rights and acceptance.
