Fun book. I looked for a fun, cute book about witches and I found one. I loved WOULD-BE WITCH from the Southern Witch Series. Which was my first fun, cute witchie book. Since the next installment in that series doesn't come out until 2014, I decided to find something similar. I would easily say that Would-Be Witch by Kimberly Frost was better than this book. However, I still enjoyed this book and would recommend it to someone looking for the same. The characters are likeable. The romance is fun. The largest flaw in this book is that it didn't feel properly plotted out. It just kinda felt like the book stumbled into a conclusion. Though, it was an exciting conclusion and I jumped right into book two after finishing it. I'd still be reading book two if my ereader's charger hadn't broken :-/ I talk about this book and others on my YouTube channel, here: http://bit.ly/RN2j5n

Yes/No Checklist

Star Categories
Romance: 3.5 Stars *My rating are a bit low here, but I did still enjoy the read.
Action: 3.5 Stars
Pacing: 4 Stars
Writing: 3.5 Stars
Plot: 3.5 Stars
Overall: 4 Stars

Protagonist Meter
Damsel--*--------Badass
The main character has potential, but it's common in romance series for the main character to be kept weak so that she needs to rely on the male lead. Yes, I hate it too, but it is what it is.
